NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New Diver's Wristwatch Unveiled by Equation of Time 8 November, 2005, Lancaster, PA. – The Equation of Time brand of watches (EOT) announces the C-3 (a.k.a. Sea-3) automatic dive watch. The bold new timepiece is the culmination of the latest in a series of collaborative design projects and is intended as a tool for the serious diver. Limited to 300 pieces, each watch will be hand-built in EOT's Pennsylvania workshop according to customer specifications. An interactive web page allows customers to select colors and features of the watch and see them on-screen. A wide array of elements area available for the choosing, including two dial designs, each available in 8 different colors; any combination of ten different colors for the standard hour and minute hands, as well as another style of hand that is available in two different colors. A variety of seconds hands and finishing options for the stainless steel case are also available. Inside the watch is a top-quality ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. Orders are being taken now. The design of the Sea-3 was a collaborative effort between the EOT brand and visitors to the Ultimate Dive Watch Forum and the Watch Design Forum at www.equationoftime.com, as was the case with the previous Collaboration-series watches, Collaboration One and C-2. The Sea-3 is the first dive watch in the series and the most rugged. The 45.8 mm case is built and tested to be water resistant to 600 meters, and is equipped with many diver-friendly features including anti-reflective sapphire crystal, super-luminous hands and markers, the availability of a steel bracelet and nylon straps, and an exclusive double-bezel system. Using the outer rotating bezel as a count-down bezel and the inner one as an elapsed time bezel, Sea-3 owners are able to indicate dive times and track decompression stops. Collaboration One (C-1) was the first watch ever designed via an on-line collaboration of enthusiasts. who worked to create the specifications for the C-1 automatic, the C-2 hand-wound watch, and the new Sea-3 dive watch.
